The ideal candidate puts safety first and will have at least 3 years experience as a tree climber. We are looking for an outdoor enthusiast who shows respect, dedication and leadership. This is a physically rigorous job and we work in rain or shine.Desired Climber QualificationsMinimum of 2-3 years climbing experience and Aerial Rescue trainingExperience operating bucket trucks or aerial lifts is a plusExperience in detailed, ornamental and natural pruning and shaping techniquesResponsible for climbing, pruning, and removing treesExperience climbing with and without spursTree ID skills and practice of ISA & ANSI A300 tree care standardsUnderstanding of knots, rigging techniques, tree cabling, and bracingExperience safely operating chainsaws, chippers, trucks, stump grinders, or special equipmentAdditional Crew Leader QualificationsExperience managing crews and jobsAbility to communicate effectively via email and track project progressAbility to maintain efficiency, while ensuring safety compliance and quality controlAdherence to ANSI Z133 & OSHA work procedures and Company policiesCustomer service skillsEnglish speaking, Spanish a plusPunctuality, Reliability, and Integrity are a mustISA Certified Arborist / Tree Worker and TCIA CTSP are a Plus!What You'll NeedA valid CA driver's license and good DMV record a plusFluent in English, Spanish a plusAbility to pass a skills assessment testLegally authorized to work in the USWhat We Offer· Competitive compensation $32-$53 per hour (based on experience, certifications and skill level) + overtime· Medical, dental, vision benefits· Paid Time Off & Holiday Pay· Retirement Plan & company matching· Advancement & growth opportunities through training & certifications· Steady year-round work Connect with UsInterested candidates should visit our website at http://www.nedpatchettconsulting.comNed Patchett Consulting an equal opportunity employer.
