We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their health with our new sensing technology.\n\nWe need you to help accelerate our development of the next generation of bio-wearables by building software development and test infrastructure that emphasizes safety, quality, and reliability above all else.\n\nThis is an opportunity to break new ground, defining what is needed, leading project working groups, and measuring the impact of the team’s work.\n\nWhat you’ll do:\n\nPlan, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for embedded software projects.\nDesign multi-worker systems that are robust to hardware failures and upgrade outages.\nWork with embedded software and electrical engineers to build infrastructure-as-code solutions for automated, on-target testing of medical devices.\nCollaborate with cross functional engineering teams to develop and collect metrics on infrastructure impact on developer velocity, product reliability, and cost.\nDocument testing infrastructure for ease of use.\nPrepare run books for testing infrastructure so that others can resolve common problems with minimal support.\nEvaluate new technology alternatives and implementations of CI/CD initiatives, providing associated training and documentation as required.\nLead projects by developing schedules, planning and purchasing physical infrastructure and SW licensing, keeping projects on budget.\nOffer strategic solutions, analysis, and advice regarding identified issues for future development.\nSupport company initiatives and comply with regulatory requirements by FDA and other relevant global regulatory agencies.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\nBachelor’s Degree with 8+ years of experience in Engineering or related field or master’s degree with 7+ years of experience or Doctorate Degree with 2+ years of experience.\nExpert knowledge in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bitbucket CI, GitHub Actions, etc.).\nExpert knowledge in scripting languages that run on both Windows 11 systems and Linux cloud containers (Python, PowerShell, etc.).\nExperience with embedded software test infrastructure or Hardware-in-the-Loop testing.\nExperience with software development life cycle processes.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nExcellent knowledge and experience in communications design and test using Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Low Energy, TCP/IP is a plus.\nExperience working with safety critical software systems especially in the medical device space.\nPractical experience in embedded software languages (C, C++, assembly, etc.).\nKnowledge of the principles of quality software engineering as described by software lifecycle development processes that are consistent with ISO, IEEE, or other FDA recognized standards.\nKnowledge of design controls and regulations for medical device development.\n\nThe base pay for this position is $114,000.00 – $228,000.00.
