Interim Supply Chain Specialist

We are currently looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to work on a project for a Renewable Energy Company, based in San Jose. Equipment & Asset StrategyAssess equipment disposition opportunities and recommend optimal value recovery strategiesEvaluate whether equipment should be sold as complete systems, repurposed, dismantled for components, or otherwise dispositionedPrioritize high-value assets and develop execution plans to maximize return and operational efficiencyCoordinate logistics, storage considerations, and timeline management for remaining equipment assetsReview technical specifications, drawings, and purchase documentation to accurately communicate equipment details to external parties.Supplier & Stakeholder CoordinationServe as a key point of contact for external buyers, brokers, suppliers, and service providersPartner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders including operations, facilities, engineering, procurement, and financeMaintain organized documentation, tracking tools, and status reporting to support efficient executionDrive timely decision-making while balancing speed, operational constraints, and value optimizationRequired Qualifications3 - 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, supply chain management, operations, procurement, or asset/equipment managementStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate operational and financial tradeoffsComfortable using Excel for data analysis, tracking, reporting, and operational planningFamiliarity with capital equipment, industrial equipment, manufacturing equipment, or technical hardware environmentsExperience supporting commercial negotiations and working within established contracting and sourcing playbooksAbility to interpret technical specifications, engineering drawings, BOMs, or purchase recordsExcellent organizational and communication skillsComfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with evolving prioritiesExperience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teamsFamiliarity with ERP and Purchasing systems (e.g., Coupa, MS Business Central), inventory tracking, or sourcing analytics tools
