The operator ensures process stability, monitors machine performance, maintains quality standards, and supports continuous improvement efforts under the direction of the Segment Lead.\n\nESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nThe following job functions are not all-inclusive. The employee will be required to perform other job-related tasks/responsibilities requested by the supervisor. Job duties may change as required by needs of company.\n\nFollow all safety procedures and company policies, safe machine operation, and Workplace Safety compliance\nProperly use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)\nEnsure machine guards and safety devices are in place and function\nImmediately report safety hazards or unsafe conditions; Hazard Awareness\nFollow lockout/tagout procedures when required\nMaintain a clean and organized workstation\nConduct regular inspections of eyewash stations and fire extinguishers to ensure compliance with safety regulations and the availability of functional emergency equipment.\nOperate assigned machines according to standard operating procedures\nMaintain required production rate or cycle time\nMonitor machine performance during operation\nRequest and load raw materials and unload finished parts\nEnsure consistent machine operation throughout the shift: Production efficiency, Cycle time adherence, Equipment stability, and Continuous operation\nMonitor hourly production targets and record production data accurately if needed\nIdentify and report machine downtime and notify the Segment Lead of production issues\nSupport production goals and schedule adherence\nInspect parts according to quality standards and control plans and identify and segregate defective parts\nImmediately notify the Segment Lead when quality issues occur\nFollow documented inspection procedures\nEnsure proper part handling to prevent damage\nFollow established machine setup and operation procedures\nUse correct materials, tools, and fixtures\nMaintain proper work methods and sequences\nFollow work instructions for inspections and documentation\nPerform daily machine checks and maintain machine cleanliness\nIdentify any abnormal machine conditions and report on equipment issues to Segment Lead\nQuality first yield pass, defect detection, and process consistency\nScrap reduction\nIdentify opportunities to improve production efficiency\nParticipating in improvement initiatives\nSuggest ideas to reduce scrap or downtime\nSupport lean manufacturing initiatives\nAll other duties as assigned.\n\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\n\nPossess and display Interroll’ s Values at all times:\nLong-Term Thinking\nCommitted to Excellence\nAlways Respectful\nPassionate about Customers\nPossess two or more years of experience working with Interroll products.\nPossess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions procedure manuals.\nPossess basic communication skills using common courtesy.\nPossess the ability to deal with problems involving limited concrete variables in standardized situations.\n\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nWhile performing the functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, feel, or handle; employee must regularly reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand and sit. The employee is occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to seventy pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.\n\nWhile performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
