{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"5bee262effe615fb52fc4e96","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/5bee262effe615fb52fc4e96","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/5bee262effe615fb52fc4e96","title":"Production Control Specialist","description":"ROLE SUMMARY\nThis is an Onsite position based at our location in Goleta, CA.\n\nNo Visa sponsorship is available for this position.\n\nThe Production Control Specialist forecasts, plans and schedules the daily production and safety workflow based on customer orders and inventory, and continuously evaluates open orders to ensure prioritization and communication to the production team to ensure product movement.\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES\nForecasts, plans, and schedules production workflow based on customer orders\nCollaborates with Production Supervisors to define priorities in production schedule\nReleases product to appropriate department\nUtilizes company ERP system to create and analyze reports to determine best scheduling methods\nClosely monitors job progress from job creation to completion\nEnters inventory information and confirms physical inventory when needed\nAnalyzes and evaluates inventory and delivery problems recommending solutions\nTakes a proactive approach to scheduling methodologies to identify potential conflicts throughout the different phases of production in an effort to minimize errors and maximize customer experience\nProvides data as required to forecast estimates and schedules of goods in process and needs for future orders\nRead and write reports as necessary\nEnsures safety and quality goals are met\nAdditional duties as assigned\nREQUIREMENTS\nEducation:\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nExperience:\n\n3 years’ minimum proven planning / scheduling experience within a fast-paced manufacturing/industrial environment\nRequired Skills:\n\nMust be a forward thinker, self-starter, motivated, and dependable\nHighly organized and detail oriented\nStrong computer skills to include MS Office products;
