In this role, you will work closely with children and individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) to implement behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. Your primary focus will be on providing high-quality patient care while collecting data to monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed.\nDuties\nImplement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).\nProvide direct support to children and individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in various settings (home initially, then clinic and school-based).\nCollect and record data on patient behaviors and responses to interventions accurately.\nMaintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by ensuring confidentiality of patient information.\nDocument medical records (medical notes) and maintain accurate medical documentation related to patient care.\nCollaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to create a supportive environment for clients.\nParticipate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities related to behavioral health and special education.\nSkills\nStrong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques, particularly Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).\nExperience working with children, especially those with autism or other developmental disabilities.\nProficient in data collection methods and analysis for tracking patient progress.\nFamiliarity with medical terminology, documentation, and records management.\nReceptive to feedback and flexible\nExcellent communication skills for collaborating with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.\nCommitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in behavioral health care.\nJoin our team to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals impacted by autism (ASD) and to play a role in expanding access to services in Northern and Southern Utah!
