Equipment Maintenance Manager

This is an opportunity to work with a highly motivated, high performance technical team on highly differentiated, disruptive technologies.The Equipment Maintenance Manager ensures that Skorpios’ semiconductor processing (CMP, etch, films, lithography, wet tools), metrology, and packaging equipment is clean, stable, and available for a 24x365 semiconductor fab operation. The Equipment Maintenance Manager ensures rapid response to equipment failures, as well as execution of preventive maintenance plans to minimize failures. The Equipment Maintenance Manager analyzes equipment availability, MTBF and MTTR, failure modes and mode changes in order to update protocols, or to identify negative trends and propose plans to mitigate them. This position is expected to work closely with the manufacturing team and engineering for scheduling and troubleshooting of issues. This position requires direct engagement and hands-on activities for equipment repairs in the cleanroom.ResponsibilitiesManage and direct equipment maintenance staff to enact repairs and perform preventive maintenance; improve staff efficiencies.Identify and Manage Critical Spare Parts, including but not limited to pumps. orings.Manage Vendor contracts, and the FSE and parts management that accompanies them. Roughly 75-80% of day is spent in a temperature-controlled cleanroom environment; must be able to tolerate full coverage cleanroom gown, boots, hood, safety glasses, and other PPE.Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is to prevent exposure to hazardous materials such as low/high voltage, gases, high air pressure, chemicals, solvents, and acids can be expected.Some areas require hearing protectionFrequent gowning and de-gowning expectedFrequent interruptions, static noise, and alarms (auditory and flashing lights) can be expected. Highlights include healthcare benefits, a 401(k) savings plan, and paid time off.Expected salary range: $150,000 to 170,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.The actual starting rate will be determined based on role-related criteria, including educational qualifications or equivalent experience, relevant work history, and the skills required for the role.RequirementsAssociates degree in Electrical or Mechanical field. Seven years of semiconductor or solar equipment engineering or maintenance experience.Three years of staff management experience.Preferred Education And ExperienceTen years of semiconductor equipment experience.
