After years of dedicated service, our previous Executive Director recently relocated, and our volunteer Board of Directors is currently overseeing day-to-day operations. During this same period, charitable giving has declined while community need has grown — and at this moment, we are not in a position to offer a salary. We are therefore seeking someone willing to begin in this role as a volunteer leader, with rebuilding APIT’s funding base as the central, immediate priority. Once operational funding is secured, this transitions to a paid, full-time position with a target salary range of $35,000–$42,000 annually, depending on experience. Our goal is to reach that point within the first six months, and we commit to being open with you at every step about where the organization’s finances stand. We won’t pretend this is a conventional position. It is a calling — suited to someone who believes deeply in our mission, who is energized rather than discouraged by the work of rebuilding, and who has the flexibility, both personal and financial, to pour into this work before it can fully provide in return. This role also asks for hands-on leadership and flexibility for some evening and weekend work. You also won’t be doing this alone. You’ll step into an organization with an engaged Board of Directors and a dedicated team of volunteer leaders already carrying this mission forward — partners invested in your success and in APIT’s.If this is the challenge you feel called to, we would be honored to hear from you. Please email info@aplaceintime.org and tell us why this mission speaks to you.
