We’re hiring engineers, operators, and builders who want to move fast, take on extreme ownership, and get capability into the hands of warfighters in months, not years.\nWhat you will be doing As a Manufacturing Engineer at Neros, you will own key components of our products, starting from the conceptual design phase all the way through production. This is a dynamic and exciting role at a rapidly growing startup and will report directly to the Head of Engineering.\nOther responsibilities include:\nOwn all aspects of hardware and production cell design to optimize for manufacturability and cost\nDesign, develop and implement production tooling and equipment\nPerform design of experiments to qualify production processes\nDevelop and refine processes and process documentation including build instructions, test and validation procedures, health and safety standards, and mBOMs\nParticipate in design reviews to drive design for manufacturing (DFM)\nCreate, maintain, and communicate detailed production plans and schedules to relevant teams\nAnalyze and resolve manufacturing issues and non-conformances\nDevelop, mentor, and train peers and colleagues\nYou should have the following Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field\n3+ years of experience in fast paced engineering/manufacturing environments\nAbility to solve engineering problems through first principles thinking\nExperience with a CAD software such as Solidworks or NX\nExperience developing, designing, and improving tooling to optimize manufacturing/production lines\nOverseen introduction and implementation of new products and manufacturing capabilities\nUS Salary Range $90,000 - $150,000 USD\nThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
