This position is a key role in the Door Shop environment and requires an expert knowledge of door preparation jigs, door specifications, and door manufacture techniques. The Door Shop Master Carpenter will assemble lead-lined door cores, apply veneer and other external door finishes, prepare cutouts in the door for hardware placement, fabricate cutouts in the door core for view window placement, and use door shop tools such as skill saw, routers, planers, table, and nail gun.
