Veterinary General Manager

Our team of specialists, emergency clinicians, and support staff deliver exceptional outcomes for patients and referring veterinarians across northern New England.WHAT YOU'LL DOOperational Excellence -You will define and enforce the hospital's operating system to optimize patient flow and throughput, align cross-departmental coordination, and establish the SOPs and escalation frameworks that keep the hospital running smoothly by designStrategic Leadership-You will set the long-term direction of the hospital in partnership with Rarebreed leadership, identify growth opportunities, and position MVMC competitively in the New England market, translating vision into execution across every department.Financial Performance You own the hospital P&L. That means building and managing the annual budget, driving revenue and margin performance, analyzing variances, and holding the leadership team accountable for their financial outcomes.Workforce & Retention You'll develop a forward-looking staffing plan across clinician, technician, support, and administrative teams; own retention strategy; monitor burnout signals; and drive a culture where people want to stay and grow.Medical Partnership You and the Medical Director lead as integrated peers.
