Operators monitor critical security systems, dispatch emergency responses, process alerts, handle communications, and enforce site policies. This position requires strong multitasking, excellent communication, and the ability to remain calm while managing multiple security functions simultaneously.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\nValid Security Officer/Guard License or ability to obtain one.\n\n· Valid driver’s license and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company approved driver standards\n\nMust be at least 18 years old.\n\n Key Responsibilities:\n\nCommand Center Operations\n\nDispatch fire, medical, chemical, and traffic incident responses.\nAnswer associate calls regarding lateness or absences and update internal systems.\nRespond to duress alarms and acknowledge card access alerts.\nControl and document access to client property.\nPrevent loss or damage due to fire, equipment issues, or safety hazards.\nEnforce client rules, regulations, and access requirements.\nOperate multiple software platforms concurrently.\n\nPatrol and Surveillance\n\nMonitor access points and verify proper identification.\nReview camera systems and surveillance feeds for suspicious activity.\n\nIncident Response and Reporting\n\nRespond to alarms and emergencies following protocols.\nMaintain accurate logs of activities, incidents, and communications.\nPerform routine tasks such as unlocking/locking doors and monitoring equipment.\n\nCustomer Service and Policy Enforcement\n\nAssist visitors and employees professionally.\nEnforce site-specific Post Orders and security protocols.\nEnsure compliance with SEI and client policies, including parking, smoking, and loitering rules.\n\nRequired Skills and Abilities\n\nAbility to perform in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.\nWeekend availability.\nStrong situational awareness and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to remain calm during critical situations.\nAdvanced computer skills; ability to use tablets and multiple software systems.\nStrong multitasking ability.\n\nPreferred Skills\n\nExperience with Microsoft Office Suite.\n\nMinimum Physical Requirements With or Without reasonable accommodation\n\n (subject to change based on client-specific needs)\n\n· Ability to stand or sit for at least 1 hour without a break.\n\nWalk at least 1/2 mile without stopping.\n\nEducation and Experience\n\nMinimum:\n\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\n\nPreferred:\n\n1 + Year of dispatch experience in a security, emergency response, or command center environment strongly preferred.\n1+ year of Military, Law Enforcement, or Security experience.\n2+ years of customer service experience.\n\nNOTE: Job responsibilities and requirements may change based on client or company needs.\n\nSecurity Engineers is a respected provider of contract security services, operating across multiple States.
