Structural Analysis & Modeling\n\nPerform structural analysis on composite and metallic materials in both static and dynamic domains.\n\nConstruct and validate finite element models using FEMAP/NxNastran and ABAQUS.\n\nApply hand calculations and empirical methods to verify and validate analysis results.\n\nConduct detailed analyses of fasteners, lugs, and joints using industry‑standard techniques.\n\nDevelop complete Free Body Diagrams for all structural evaluations.\n\nConduct concept studies to support systems engineering initiatives.\n\nParticipate in technical trade‑off evaluations and solution selection processes.\n\nMaintain awareness of cost and schedule impacts during analysis and design phases.\n\n4. Testing & Correlation\n\nProvide input to inspection and test plans.\n\nPerform test evaluations and correlate results with analytical models.\n\nSupport test predictions and post‑test evaluations to refine analysis methods.\n\n5. Documentation & Communication\n\nIssue detailed technical reports documenting analysis work.\n\nParticipate in internal and external meetings and design reviews.\n\nCommunicate effectively across engineering disciplines and with stakeholders.\n\n6. Tools & Technical Proficiency\n\nUtilize FEMAP/NxNastran for linear analysis and ABAQUS for non‑linear simulations.\n\nApply MATLAB for data analysis and modeling.\n\nDemonstrate proficiency in classical analysis techniques and hand calculations.\n\nTravel periodically to U.S. sites and Switzerland to support project activities and foster collaboration.\n\nMINIMUM EDUCATION\nBachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, or related.\n\nMINIMUM EXPERIENCE\n\nAnalyzing composite and metallic components for aerospace or launch vehicle applications.\n\nApplying calculation methods including hand calculations and computer‑aided engineering (CAE) tools.\n\nDeveloping and verifying structural models using Free Body Diagrams and hand calculations.
