Success in this role requires a solid technical foundation, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support a modern hybrid cloud environment.\n\nResponsibilities:\nResponsibilities\nEnd User Support\nProvide technical support for hardware, software, Microsoft 365, networking, and account-related issues.\nTroubleshoot and resolve incidents involving Windows workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, business applications, and network connectivity.\nRespond to support requests in a timely manner while documenting issues, resolutions, and customer interactions.\nEscalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff when appropriate.\nMicrosoft 365 & Identity Administration\nCreate, modify, disable, and maintain user accounts, groups, permissions, and access assignments within Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory.\nAssist with administration of Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and related administrative portals.\nSupport a hybrid identity environment consisting of on-premises Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID synchronization.\nAssist with employee onboarding and offboarding activities, including account provisioning, equipment deployment, and access management.\nEndpoint & Systems Administration\nConfigure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, peripherals, and mobile devices.\nSupport Microsoft Intune or equivalent endpoint management platforms for device enrollment, software deployment, compliance, and policy management.\nInstall, update, and maintain approved operating systems and business applications.\nPerform routine system administration tasks under the direction of senior IT personnel.\nInfrastructure Support\nMonitor system health, service availability, security alerts, and infrastructure performance.\nAssist with Active Directory administration, Group Policy management, and Windows Server support.\nParticipate in cloud migrations, software deployments, infrastructure upgrades, and technology improvement initiatives.\nAssist with troubleshooting networking issues related to DNS, DHCP, VPN connectivity, and endpoint communications.\nDocumentation & Asset Management\nMaintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, troubleshooting guides, and inventory records.\nTrack hardware assets, software licensing, and IT inventory.\nSupport IT compliance efforts by maintaining accurate documentation and following established security policies and procedures.\nQualifications:\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nAssociate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.\nApproximately 3–5 years of experience providing technical support, help desk services, or systems administration within a corporate, government, or professional IT environment.\nExperience supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 services.\nExperience working with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, and hybrid identity environments.\nExperience supporting Microsoft Azure or Azure Government environments.\nStrong troubleshooting, organizational, documentation, and customer service skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Microsoft Intune or other endpoint management solutions.\nFamiliarity with Azure Government Community Cloud (GCC).\nWorking knowledge of Windows Server, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and endpoint security.\nExperience supporting cloud migrations, Microsoft 365 administration, or enterprise infrastructure projects.\nPrevious experience supporting government contractors or regulated environments.\nPreferred Certifications\nCompTIA Security+\nCompTIA Network+\nCompTIA A+\nMicrosoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals\nMicrosoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals\nMicrosoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (preferred)\n\nSalary Range - $60k-$65k\nGeneral Information: MicroTech is an award-winning Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and experienced provider of information technology and communications.
