Construction Project Engineer

Loureiro Building Construction, LLC. is seeking a Project Engineer to join our team in New Hampshire.This position supports the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial and industrial construction projects for a self-performing general contractor. The Project Engineer will work closely with Project Managers, Field Superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers to help ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.Who We AreLoureiro Building Construction, LLC is a contractor with extensive experience in design/build, general contracting, and construction management, with the ability to self-perform across all market sectors. Our in-house capabilities include site work, concrete, carpentry, and select finish trades.At Loureiro, our goal is to hire individuals who want to grow with us; professionals who value collaboration, mentorship, and long-term career development.What You'll DoAssisting with project planning and schedulingPreparing and processing subcontracts and purchase ordersAttending and recording project meetingsPreparing change orders, submittals, and maintaining submittal logsManaging subcontractors and material suppliersReviewing daily reportsRecord keeping and documentation of all aspects of the relative projectsReviewing subcontractor requisitions for accuracy, in conjunction with the Project Management team.Assisting with attaining substantial and final project completion on time and within budget.May assist Estimators, Project Managers, and Field Superintendents throughout all phases of projects, including performing quantity take-offs, soliciting quotes, scheduling, submittals, reviewing & coordinating subcontractor/material supplier quotes/subcontracts/PO's, preparing project-specific health & safety documentsWho You AreDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsA team player who thrives in a collaborative environmentStrong communicator with the ability to coordinate across teamsProactive and adaptable with strong multitasking abilitiesMotivated to learn and grow within the construction industryWhat You BringBachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field6 months to 3 years of construction or project management experienceFamiliarity with construction documentation, processes, and project coordinationExperience with or willingness to learn Procore and BluebeamOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain)Physical RequirementsAbility to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, including active job sitesAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Manual dexterity to operate tools, equipment, and computersAbility to work in varying weather conditions and terrainsAdherence to safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipmentWhy Loureiro?People-Focused Culture: Work alongside experienced professionals who value mentorship and teamworkCareer Growth: Gain hands-on experience with opportunities for advancementMeaningful Work: Contribute to impactful construction projects across New EnglandEmployee Ownership: Loureiro Engineering Associates, Inc. is a 100% employee-owned (ESOP) company-when the company succeeds, you share in that successAbout LoureiroLoureiro Engineering Associates, Inc.
