Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country.\n\nDescription\nCaptivation Software is looking for a mid‑level systems engineer who will assist with daily responsibilities and be able to travel 3 times a year for 7–10 days at a time.\n\nRequirements\nSecurity Clearance\n\nMust currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\nA Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus four (4) years of systems engineering experience.\n\nA High School Diploma or GED and four (4) years of general system engineering experience (any Process Area) may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.\n\nA Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university may be substituted for one (1) year of systems engineering experience.\n\nA PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university may be substituted for three (3) years of systems engineering experience.\n\nRequired Skills\n\nExperience with coding Python and Visual Basic for applications.\n\nStrong experience in applying RF theoretical and academic knowledge in EMI testing unintended emissions within HF, VHF, and UHF spectrum.\n\nFamiliar with RF tools (network analyzers, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes) and components (amplifiers, filters, isolators, attenuators, terminators, etc.).\n\nFormulating and documenting test plans.\n\nDraft and issue technical recommendations through formal test reports.\n\nSpecify and/or review system and component technical performance requirements to ensure optimal functionality while meeting E3 noise electric field limit.\n\nCollaborate internal and external agency stakeholders to ensure technical support enables the E3 Program and customer mission requirements.\n\nDesired Skills\n\nPreferred but not required to have experience in electromagnetic compatibility testing, electromagnetic interference mitigation, and /or antenna calibration.\n\nThis position is open for direct hires only.
