We are looking for a dynamic and skilled Construction Project Manager to join our talented team at our project site near Charlottesville, Virginia.\n\nIn this role, you will work on a project site, leading construction projects to successful completion - safely, on time, and on budget. Additionally, you will work with the Project Director and/or Senior Project Manager as you guide our engineering, construction management, and superintendent teams in achieving project goals.\n\nTo excel in this role, you will need a strong construction background, an uncompromising commitment to safety and quality, and a focus on client engagement.\n\nAdditional Responsibilities\nCoordinate contractual requirements, project specifications, and design drawings.\nManage subcontractor and vendor relationships, procurement, billing, and cash flow projections.\nConduct progress measurement, earned value analysis, schedule updates, and change management reporting.\nPrepare project documentation, including meeting minutes, monthly reports, and applications for payment.\nOversee contract administration, punch lists, warranty review, and as-built documentation.\nMonitor project resources, maintain scopes of work, and communicate expectations across the team.\nTrack and report on project costs, ensuring alignment with budgets and field conditions.\nBuild and maintain client relationships and participate in schedule, safety, and quality oversight.\nCollaborate with Project Services on cost management and support safe project execution through coordinated site oversight.\nPerform additional responsibilities as required to support successful project delivery.\nQualifications & Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related discipline, or an equivalent technical degree.\n10+ years of experience in Project Delivery or a related discipline.\nDemonstrate significant experience in both terms of industry knowledge.\nPhysical Demands\nMust be able to stand, sit, and walk for prolonged periods.\nMust possess the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as required.\nMust be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.\nMust be able to climb ladders as necessary.\nWork Environment\nThis position will have 25% travel, or as required by the assigned project.\nPosition may be assigned to a client site for an extended period.\nOvernight travel or staying in the city of the Client’s location is possible, depending on the assignment.\nPlease review the IPS Travel Policy.\nYou will visit construction sites and will be required to take site safety training and adhere to site safety rules.\nMust have access to reliable transportation.\nMust have the ability to travel and commute on a daily or routine basis.\nMust be able to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, which may include exposure to varying weather.\nSafety\nThis position is a safety-sensitive position.\nThe employee is designated for field work and attends activities at client sites where they work in construction, process, packaging, manufacturing, research, or other \"non-administrative\" areas.\nAll interviews are conducted either in person or virtually, with video required.\n\n#LI-JP1\nAbout Us:\nIPS, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is a global leader in technical consulting, architecture, engineering, procurement, construction management, commissioning, qualification, and validation services for technically complex facilities.
