Designed as a shorter-term, exploratory experience, internships allow students to apply what they’re learning in school while gaining exposure to real projects, professional collaboration, and day-to-day life at an employee-owned company.\n\nThe summer internship has a commitment of approximately mid-May through mid-August 2027.\n\nWHAT YOU'LL DO:\n\nThe intern will be exposed to a variety of structural engineering tasks which may include steel and concrete design, foundation design, structural drafting & detailing, gravity load analysis, and lateral load analysis of buildings and other structures.\n\nThe intern will collaborate with other disciplines, interface with engineers, designers, and clients, follow schedules and budget commitments, work independently and in a team environment.\n\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nMust have graduation date after August 2027 to be eligible.\nMust be currently enrolled and entering junior year of undergraduate degree or higher.\nMust be pursuing an engineering degree in Civil (with structural emphasis) or Structural Engineering at an ABET accredited program.\nEligible candidate should have completed basic statics and mechanics of materials coursework.\nGood written and oral communication skills.\nAbility to problem solve.\nClient projects for this position require U.S. Citizenship.\nDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nBasic knowledge of at least one finite element analysis software program such as RISA 3D.\nBasic knowledge of either AutoCAD or Revit.\nCompletion of some introductory coursework in structural analysis and either steel or concrete design.\nLocal candidates preferred.\nPERKS:\nProfessional Training and Skill Development.\nFlexible Work Hours and Paid holidays\nReal work on Real client projects\nCoaching and Mentoring\nWeekly Training Meetings including \"Meet the CEO and President”\nAnd Much More!\nADDITIONAL INFORMATION:\nApply online only.
