As part of the Agile software development team, this role develops solutions mainly using frontend technologies, such as Vue, JavaScript, and TypeScript with a good understanding of backend services and data sources. The ideal candidate is familiar with the Agile software development life cycle from user requirement generation to automated tests and deployment. Due to the nature of the role, only U.S. Citizens may be considered.\n\nResponsibilities include:\n\nDesign, develop and deliver modern secure software applications to enable the intel mission\nTroubleshoot defects, deduce root cause, and implement mechanisms to prevent reoccurrence and mitigate offshoot issues\nProfessionally maintain all software and create updates regularly to address customer and company concerns\nAnalyze and test code before merging and formal launch\nCollaborate with team members to determine best practices and client requirements\nEfficiently divide and conquer software development tasks with other developers\nActively seek ways to improve business software processes and interactions\nSupport grooming of user stories, breakdown development tasks and estimate level of effort\n\nHere’s what you need:\n\n3+ years of experience as Software Engineer developing distributed software applications using modern and open-source technologies and frameworks\nExperience with frontend technologies, such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue, React, and Angular\nExperience with Linux, Git, Jira, Confluence, and Artifactory\nExperience with: ESlint, Vuetify, Vue Composition, Vue Router, Pinia, TanStack, Axios, VitePress, and/or TypeDoc\nDeep understanding and experience developing frontend microservices\nStrong understanding and knowledge in API best practices\nGood understanding of relational and NoSQL databases\nExperience in Agile development technologies\nExperience developing secure software systems based upon industry specifications\nOutstanding collaboration and communication skills are essential\n\nBonus Points If You Have:\n\nExperience in software development supporting DoD and/or IC\nExperience with frontend unit testing tools, such as Jest, Vitest, and Jasmine\nExperience with Python and Java\nExperience working with Webpack 5, Vite, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Jenkins, Keycloak, OAuth2, JWT, etc.\nExperience with cloud technologies, such as AWS and Azure\nExperience developing customized code for multiple projects simultaneously\n\nSecurity Clearance:\n\nInterim or active Secret at a minimum with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly required.\n\nEducation:\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent\n\nWork Schedule:\n\nHybrid, telework is optional with mandatory onsite days during implementation and testing to support onsite tasks. Must live within commuting distance of Reston.\n\nCompensation and Benefits:\nThe projected compensation range for this position is $130,000-170,000.
