This individual would be responsible for supporting and delivering customer implementations, post-sales, for Elsevier’s higher education products, including Interfolio and Pure.\n\nThis role works directly with higher education and research institutions to deliver successful software implementations that streamline academic workflows, research management, and data-driven decision-making.\n\nYou will act as a trusted partner to customers—guiding them through onboarding, configuration, data integration, and adoption—while collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams. This is an entry-level role designed for individuals developing expertise in project delivery, client engagement, and technical implementation.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nSupporting and managing customer implementation projects from post-sale through go-live\nDeveloping and executing project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables\nCoordinating internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress\nServing as primary point of contact for customers during implementation\nConducting regular status meetings and provides project updates\nAdvising customers on product configuration and best practices\nSupporting data migration and integration activities (e.g., data validation, formatting, basic ETL coordination)\nPerforming basic troubleshooting and escalates issues as needed\nDelivering customer training sessions (virtual and/or onsite)\nCollaborating cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams\nMaintaining implementation documentation and contributes to process improvements\nSupporting multiple concurrent implementation projects\n\nRequirements\n\nHave a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required-1–2 years of relevant experience in implementation, project coordination, customer success, or related field.\nCarry a CAPM Certification or working towards it.\nDisplay foundational understanding of SaaS implementation methodologies.\nHave basic/high-level knowledge of data integration concepts (e.g., APIs, XML, ETL processes).\nHave exceptional organizational and time management skills.\nDisplay effective written and verbal communication skills.\nAble to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.\nDisplay a customer-focused mindset with problem-solving capability.\nAre proficient with standard business tools (e.g. Microsoft Office).\nHave familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Jira, Confluence, Sales Force or similar) valued.\nAre accountable for their work output and has detailed follow-through skills\nAble to work on moderately complex implementation projects with guidance.\nAble to impacts customer onboarding experience and early product adoption.\nAble to handle multiple projects simultaneously with defined scope.\nAble to travel-limited travel may be required (e.g., customer onsite visits).\n\nWork in a Way That Works for You\nWe promote a healthy work-life balance and offer flexible working options.
