This role will manage customer programs in support of the WindWright portfolio and will have authority on program decisions, own the customer relationship, cost, and schedule of customer programs. Candidates must have extensive experience executing aerospace programs, creating successful and lasting customer relationships, managing government contracts, and working on aerospace projects which include concept exploration, design & development, build, commissioning, and operations of facilities.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesServe as lead customer Program ManagerResponsible for managing customer relationshipsProvides governance of cost, schedule, and technical execution of customer programsDevelop and implement program management metricsLeads and provides support for customer engagementsEvaluate risks and mitigation plans to determine adequacy and effectivenessDevelop budget and schedules for managing customer programsInterface with high-level internal and external leadership including direct communication with domestic and international customersWork closely with our customer interface to ensure routine and appropriate communications and timely delivery of contract deliverablesImplement program management tools, as needed, to facilitate program executionContribute to developing statements of work, establishing program review gates, setting milestones with applicable entry and exit criteria, and evaluating subcontractor capabilitiesWork with the procurement team to ensure subcontractors are delivering products on deadline and within budgetPartners with business development and advanced programs to pursue new business, contract growth and development of strategyThis individual will be focused on technical advances, product roadmap alignment, and modernization efforts to support the team’s strategic objectives and our customer’s missionsThis leader will be responsible for customer engagement, program execution, and pipeline alignment across development, production, and sustainment activitiesAbility to interface and work well with multiple functional areas (Engineering, Contracts, Business Management, Program Office, and external Customers)Travel, as needed, to support the company and programDemonstrate honesty, responsibility, integrity, and fulfillment of commitmentsQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
