Calibration Technician
As a Calibration Technician on our Fluke Biomedical team, maintaining and improving the calibration service processes, standards at Fluke Health Solutions - Fluke Biomedical. The personnel will learn and utilize the Fortive Business System (FBS) to drive continuous improvement throughout the factory with his knowledge acquired on the subject matter.Responsibilities Provide day-to-day technical hands-on support of service workstations, workstation equipment, metrological standards, and processes improvement Abide by our accreditation guidelines and FDA regulatory requirements Design, build, or repair calibration fixtures, and jigs assisting test engineers, metrologists Participate and/or lead in standard work, corrective action, and problem-solving activities with manufacturing engineers. Evaluate service bench design needs and requirements time to time to maintain new or already implemented processes and procedures. Construct PFMEA's for improving production processes. Help develop and maintain SW for preventative maintenance program, scheduling maintenance, auditing work benches. Participate, learn, evaluate and apply organization skillsets to conduct continuous improvement projects and Kaizens. Generate, control, and maintain all metrological standard calibration certificates. Utilize Fortive Business Systems (FBS) to drive continuous improvements. Update manager and management of the calibration standard inventory, delay, change and workstation requirements based on need. Make management aware of situations that can contribute to gap to achieve goals and do predictive update. Comply with Fluke’s employee handbook lead with Fortive Business System Work temporarily on other op-cos in FHS under business demands. Maintain compliance with industrial ISO standards on metrological equipment processing and material handling. Immaculate record keeping and organization and improve established processes and worker experience.Qualifications Associate degree in Electrical/Electronic discipline with 2+ years of experience of working as a technician. Experience at working under FDA regulated environment and cGMP. Working at ISO 17025 laboratories is a plus. Excellent communication skill and proven track record of working with cross functional teams. Demonstrable experience of working and troubleshooting electronics and electrical products Exceptional communication skills for varying levels of personnel Demonstrated positive results in Lean/Kaizen/Continuous Improvement Proven track record of working with cross functional teams. Knowledge of documentation control, Kaizen, PSP, SW, 5S is plus. Proficient of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Words, PowerPoint) Experience developing and/or presenting information to stakeholders and/or leadership.
