The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, AWS, cloud-native technologies, and production support within a large-scale enterprise environment.The role involves maintaining application stability, resolving production issues, implementing regulatory enhancements, supporting infrastructure upgrades, and ensuring application resiliency.Key ResponsibilitiesL2 Production SupportPerform incident triage and problem management.Conduct application health checks and proactive monitoring.Support user education and issue resolution.Analyze production incidents and coordinate timely resolutions.Monitor application performance and system availability.L3 Production SupportGenerate ad-hoc reports and data extracts.Investigate and resolve application defects.Implement market and regulatory mandated enhancements.Perform technology lifecycle management (TLM) upgrades and platform changes.Execute FARM findings remediation, including vulnerability fixes and patch/version upgrades.Support audit requests, recertifications, and access management activities.Provide SRE/Infrastructure support for production environments.Participate in release planning, deployments, and post-release support.Required Skills & ExperienceCore Technical Skills10+ years of experience in Java application development.Strong expertise in Java with working knowledge of Python and Bash scripting.Extensive experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications.Experience with messaging platforms such as Apache Kafka.Strong SQL skills with expertise in relational databases such as PostgreSQL or Oracle.Proven experience supporting production applications in enterprise environments.AWS & Cloud TechnologiesHands-on experience with:AWS GlueAmazon S3AWS LambdaAmazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service)Cloud-native application deployment and supportData Engineering (Preferred)Experience with Apache Spark.Exposure to Airflow job development and maintenance.Data engineering background is highly preferred.Testing & DevOpsExperience with:JUnitMockitoCucumberRegression TestingTest-Driven Development (TDD)Experience using GitHub Copilot for specification-driven development.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.Understanding of application resiliency and security best practices.Monitoring & TroubleshootingStrong experience using Splunk for log analysis and production troubleshooting.Excellent debugging and root cause analysis skills.Nice to HaveExperience with DynamoDB or other NoSQL databases.SRE/Infrastructure support experience.Financial Services or Banking domain experience.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.10+ years of software development and production support experience.Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced production support environment.Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.Work LocationWilmington, DE / New Jersey5 Days Onsite (Mandatory)Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate is a senior Java engineer with strong AWS and Kubernetes expertise who has significant experience supporting enterprise production applications.
