Lead Content & Production Associate
We’re a husband and wife team doing wedding films, photography, and content for small businesses. Our business continues to grow every year and we need someone who can take ownership of the smaller tasks so we can focus on bigger edits and growing the business. Additionally, this person will be able to provide creative ideas for brand growth through short form video content, long form video content and marketing campaigns. This person will work very close with us as we work to continue to grow our brand.
This is a hands-on role and a good opportunity for someone who wants to get more involved in weddings, content creation, and the creative industry.
What You’ll Be Doing
Managing and posting on our social media
Creating short-form content (Reels, TikToks, behind-the-scenes, etc.)
Keeping our content organized and consistent with our brand
Organizing photo and video files after events
Backing up footage and keeping everything structured
Culling photos and prepping files for editing
Setting up projects for editing (syncing audio, organizing timelines, etc.)
Editing teaser videos and short-form content
Assisting at photoshoots, weddings and corporate events as needed
Second shooting weddings (photo and/or video)
Helping prep gear before events and pack everything up after
Expectations
Must be local to Birmingham and able to meet in person weekly
Weekend availability is required for weddings and other events.
10-20 hours per week with additional hours for during weekend events
During peak seasons, quick turnaround time for edits may be expected
You must be reliable, easy to communicate with, and able to adapt quickly
Must be able to work in a fast paced, sometimes tense environment during events and maintain mental clarity and focus throughout.

Experience
1-2 years in the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite is preferred
Familiar with Canon cameras is preferred
Basic understanding of image and video composition
Any experience with photo, video, or digital design (client work or personal projects) is preferred

Pay
$15-$25 an hour starting pay with pay increases available over time. Starting pay will depend on experience.
