Specifications are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job.\r\nSUMMARY\r\nThe Junior Program Analyst will work directly with the Government personnel in meeting the program analyst needs of the project.\r\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\r\nAssists program leaders as they scan the business environment to identify potential issues that may impact the quality of services, interfere with the organization's ability to manage its risks, and/or create opportunities to address these issues more effectively.\r\nTracks cost, schedule, and percent completion for assigned task orders.\r\nMonitors burn rates against budgetary expectations.\r\nPrepares cost vs. schedule variance reports for each task order and informs management and the Government when budget exceeds 75%, 90%, 100% of allocated funds, or upon reaching other thresholds as required.\r\nCreates initial task order entry into the task order tracking module of TEBS.\r\nArchives entries upon task order completion.\r\nCreates long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adheres to deadlines.\r\nMakes effective recommendations when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project.\r\nServes as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.\r\nCommunicates with leadership on progress of project.\r\nAdjusts schedules and targets on the project as needs or budgets change.\r\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\r\nEXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND LICENSURE\r\nBA/BS Degree in Business Administration, Technical Management, or a related field from an accredited college or equivalent experience.\r\nAt least 4 years of experience performing assignments in a professional work environment.\r\nUnderstanding of project coordination principles.\r\nDemonstrated data analysis skills, with the ability to gather, organize, and interpret data from various sources following prescribed methods.\r\nProficiency in developing cost estimates and performing basic financial calculations under supervision.\r\nDemonstrated technical writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely using established templates.\r\nFamiliarity with test planning and reporting processes.\r\nDemonstrated statistical analysis skills, with the ability to compile and interpret data using basic office software.\r\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).\r\nDemonstrated organizational and communication skills to effectively support the T&E team under supervision.\r\nDemonstrated communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with T&E teams.\r\nPrior experience working in a project management or program support role within a military or government environment preferred.\r\nExperience supporting T&E environments preferred.\r\nREASONABLE ACCOMMODATIONS\r\nReasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the following essential functions.\r\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES\r\nNone\r\nWORK ENVIRONMENT\r\nWork environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
