This position is also responsible for managing their projects and scope, schedule and budget, all while ensuring client satisfaction. Project managers at BDI have and further develop these skills: Communication, Leadership, Planning, Problem Solving, Time Management, Prioritization, and Delegation. Upon review of candidate experience, the applicant may be considered for a Program Manager role.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nProject Management\nManage project scope, schedule, and budget including logistical plans, client correspondence, project execution, field and reporting deadlines, invoicing, and AR follow-up for assigned projects.\nEffectively communicate project status and milestone achievement with project team, Division Management, Company Management and client. Lead project scoping discussions with Clients, facilitate and/or lead technical discussions with Clients.\nPreparing and/or leading proposal efforts, including budgeting and evaluating staffing requirements.\nOversight of the project from beginning to end including scope development in alignment with proposal, schedule, reporting, communication and financials.\nCommunicate project plan, preparation and logistics with project team.\nCollaborate on schedules, analysis, project deliverables, and best practices with other Project Managers.\nEnsure all Job Hazard Analysis and company Safety Management requirements are met during execution of the project.\nSupervise performance of all work to ensure it meets company quality control expectations.\nEnsure financial controls are in place prior to project kick-off, in alignment with the approved proposed budget and client expectations.\nDuring execution, ensure project financial performance goals are met utilizing company financial management system.\nPrepare and/or oversee development of deliverables to client.\nEnsure all project completion and closeout documentation is compiled and submitted meeting client expectations.\nPrepare and submit all project related documentation including specifications, reporting and proposals with minimal supervisor guidance.\nWork in unison with all company project managers to schedule field and report/analysis activities.\nWork with business development team to support active sales initiatives.\nDelegating tasks using a coaching relationship for supervising the technical work of project staff.\nActively contribute to internal technical and project delivery training.\nAssist with training, mentoring, and managing of junior staff.\nSupport the Division Manager in all aspects while ensuring business continuity, growth initiatives, quality and safety standards, and staff development.\nProject Execution\nCoordinate with production and field crews ensuring they are following BDI standards including but not limited to system design; AutoCAD drawings, verifying against project specifications, and project close out.\nEnsure staff receive proper training.\nEnforce all company safety standards, working with the company’s safety director.\nManage staff that are working in a variety of conditions including heights, overnight shifts, and in all types of weather conditions.\nBe available to provide direct field support as required to ensure project outcome.\nSupport personnel management when required.\nThe Program Manager position includes the above responsibilities across an entire Program for a variety of BDI’s key clients.\nYou Are:\nResults driven and leverage strong organization and process to guide your teams.\nA natural self-starter with a drive to connect with people daily.\nFlexible and have the ability to adapt to different types of work on a variety of projects.\nAn effective communicator with the ability to address multiple audiences (oral and written).\nReady to develop personally and professionally with a growing company.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree of Civil Engineering\nProject management experience (in the engineering services or civil construction)\nExperience leading, managing, and developing personnel\nEIT and P.E. certification preferred\nWilling to travel and willing to work out in the field, as required\nBenefits and Compensation:\nStarting Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 per year dependent on experience.
