Kinder Prep Montessori Nursery & Preschool operates renowned daycare and preschool centers in Brooklyn Heights and Williamsburg, serving children aged 3 months to 4 years. With flexible month-to-month tuition and no long-term commitments, we provide a nurturing environment rooted in Montessori principles, fostering independence and a passion for learning. Our program includes three nutritious meals daily, diverse scheduling options, and enrichment classes such as Cooking, Soccer, Chess, Music, Spanish Immersion, and Science, all led by certified professionals. Outdoor activities and holistic learning experiences are key aspects of our vibrant community, designed to nurture young minds.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Director of Education located in Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn. The Education Director will oversee the development and implementation of curriculum aligned with Montessori principles, drive program development, and provide leadership to educators. The role involves coaching and mentoring staff, ensuring adherence to educational standards, and maintaining a stimulating and inclusive learning environment for children.QualificationsMaster’s degree in Education At least 2 years of Teaching ExperienceTeaching CertificationCPR CertificationStrong expertise in Curriculum Development and Program DevelopmentProficiency in Coaching and mentoring educational staffAbility to foster a collaborative and inclusive environmentFamiliarity with Montessori educational principles is highly desirableExperience in managing or leading educators and school programsOutstanding interpersonal and organizational skills
