Our purpose: We accelerate partners’ success through innovative financial technology solutions and inspired service.\n\nThe Opportunity:\nThe Associate Learning Professional will deliver virtual classroom training and blended learning instruction, delivering programs utilizing current adult learning principles and theories, and ensure the transfer of knowledge to enhance job performance. This role requires an entry level knowledge of Velera products and services. This individual will create and deliver customized presentations to meet the requirements of each financial institution engagement.\n\nDay in the Life:\n\nDevelop collaborative relationships with various business units, subject matter experts, and L&OD staff to identify learning opportunities to close knowledge or performance gaps, and gather source content for learning curriculum.\n\nFacilitate technical virtual classroom programs.\n\nFacilitate quarterly calendar class training for our financial institutions on a variety of topics regarding Velera solutions, systems and services.\n\nDeliver client facing billable training sessions as required.\n\nProvide regular updates to department management of status of all development activities, completion of milestones, and potential conflicts.\n\nUse a variety of training methods to engage participants and enhance learner retention and performance.\n\nEvaluate the effectiveness of training programs through observation, feedback, learner retention and a variety of assessment mechanisms to ensure a positive client experience.\n\nAs needed Analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate (ADDIE) blended learning that aligns with adult learning principles for new/existing clients and proactively provide solutions to enhance training content, and delivery of training to financial institutions in partnership with internal partners.\n\nAdhere to style guidelines and design standards that conform with Velera’s marketing brand for the development of all training materials.\n\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications:\n\nAssociates degree in Adult Learning, Education, or related course-work or equivalent training and/or experience.\n\nZero (0) to Two (2) years training and development experience, including needs analysis, program development, training delivery, and performance consulting required.\n\nExperience with a learning management system.\n\nPayment processing, Fiserv, FIS, Mastercard, Visa knowledge (preferred).\n\nDisplay high vigilance of data security.\n\nDemonstrated adult learning and ADDIE model principles.\n\nAbility to travel as needed, 0-10%\n\nAbout Velera\n\nAt Velera, inclusion isn’t an initiative – it’s how we work.
