Our lagoons are open morning to night during peak season, so successful candidates must be open to work: days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training and certification will be provided.Job SummaryA good bartender will take pride in providing attentive, friendly, and clean/sanitary service that ensures our guests and residents feel valued and well taken care of, which contributes to guest loyalty. This person will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide exceptional customer service and promote positive guest experiencePrepare and serve both non-alcohol and alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant guestsInteract with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinksAssess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendationsMix ingredients to prepare cocktailsPlan and present bar menu Check IDs to ensure appropriate customers meets legal drinking ageMonitor guest consumption of alcohol, following all company and state guidelinesRestock and replenish bar inventory and suppliesComply with all food and beverage regulationsOther duties as neededQualificationsHS Diploma or equivalent preferredAt least 18 years of age (21+ preferred) Food & Beverage Safety certifications (We will provide certification if needed)Previous bartender experience required – 2 years of experience preferredExcellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks Outstanding communication, customer service and cash handling skills Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Experience using Focus or similar POS system a plusEnergetic, enthusiastic, and reliableFlexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
