Automobile Technician

Job Description Work Experience:A rapidly expanding North Florida company which is currently seeking a Service/Lube Tech for maintenance of light duty diesel vehicles. The right candidate for the position will be trained in all phases of OEM maintenance. This person will be responsible for servicing and repair on diesel powered vehicles such as Ford, GM, and Dodge.Job Requirements:Must be able to follow instructions.Must be able to work alone, without supervision.Must be able to read instruction manuals and drawings.Perform line technician services (oil changes & tires, etc.)Routine inspections and maintenanceFull automotive trouble shooting and testingSystem diagnosticsContinuously expanding your knowledge for new technologies and practiceAutomotive technical school certifications preferredExperience changing oil and tires requiredApprenticeship experience a plusMust have prior good work or school attendancePositive attitude and a team playerMust have basic toolsMust be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug) along with valid driver's licenseSkill Requirements:Ability to work with multiple employees in a fast paced environment.Adaptable to change.Attention to details.Must be a self-starter.Willing to learn new jobs skills.Ability to meet deadlines.Strong problem solving skills.Team oriented.Ability to work with those at all levels of the organization.Education Requirements:High School Diploma or GEDLocal applicants preferred.Work Hours: Monday thru Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pmCompany DescriptionAutomotive repair shopCompany DescriptionAutomotive repair shop
