We are seeking to engage your inquisitive nature and inclination to learn.\n\nPreferred Technical Skills\n\nExperience with database management systems including but not limited to DB2, MS SQL, and Postgres.\n\nKnowledge of Microsoft Azure and/or AWS and their database services as well as a familiarity with DevOps.\n\nKnowledge of IT Operations best practices in a 24/7/365 always on service model.\n\nExperience designing, configuring, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining databases in cloud environments in Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.\n\nExperience with tuning large databases to optimize performance.\n\nResponsibilities include:\n\nConstantly improving skills set and sharing new knowledge with others on the team.\n\nParticipate in the daily team stand-ups.\n\nNew product research and completing proof-of-concepts on how it can improve our ability to support RedMane clients.\n\nComplete level 2 and level 3 support tickets.\n\nAnalyze issues and determine root cause along with completing solutions to resolve.\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelors or master’s degree in computer science or related field preferred\n\nMust have an interest in and willingness to learn diverse technologies\n\nUnderstanding of computer virtualization, networking fundamentals, scripting and automation.\n\nAll professionals at RedMane are expected to possess these qualities:\n\nA strong ethical foundation, capable of thriving in an environment and culture where honesty, integrity, and accountability are core values.\n\nA collaborative spirit, a team orientation, and a willingness and desire to contribute to the success of others.\n\nWe Offer You\n\nRedMane has an environment that offers challenging and interesting work.
