Advanced Practice Provider - PT w/Benefits - Open until filled

Closing Date: Position is open until filled.Position Summary: Provides direct and comprehensive primary, preventive, and therapeutic medical care to individuals across their lifespan. Clinical supervision will be provided by the Chief Medical Officer. This position is part-time with benefits; grade E19; pay is $73,119.60/annually.Education And ExperienceMust have a MA/MS in Nursing, with emphasis in family nurse practitioner (FNP) from a program accredited by the National League for Nursing OR must have completed a US-based Physician Assistant training program.Must have 1 year of experience as a practicing Nurse Practitioner OR Physician Assistant.Must have and maintain status as a certified ARNP or PA-C, including completion of all requirements for continuing education (CME) and re-certification.Must have and maintain prescriptive authority as an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant and DEA license to prescribe controlled substances.Must possess and maintain an unrestricted license to practice in the State of Colorado.Must have computer experience in electronic health records, Microsoft Word, and Excel.Must provide recent TB test results or be able to obtain a TB test at the Tribal Health Center prior to starting work.Must have a valid Driver’s License for state of residency and be insurable under the Tribal Vehicle Insurance Policy.Must pass a thorough criminal history background check, fingerprint check, and pre-employment drug test.Preferred QualificationsGeneral knowledge of Indian Self Determination P.L. 93-638.Prior work experience with Native American Indian Tribes.CompanySouthern Ute Indian TribeJob Location Ignacio, COHow To ApplyPlease apply online at: https://careers.southernute.com/pfund Hiring Preference TERO Preference.
