Organization: Red Bull Distribution CompanyJob type: PermanentCompany DescriptionThe purpose of Red Bull Distribution Company (RBDC), as Red Bull's owned Direct-Store-Delivery (DSD) organization is to drive best-in-class distribution and achieve Red Bull North America's (RBNA) strategic objectives - both quantitative (revenue, volume, profit andshare) and qualitative (in-field, talent, operations). The President will lead a world-class retail execution team to achieve RBDC's goal ofbecoming the #1 Distribution Company in North America.Reporting to the EVP, Off Premise Distribution, the President, RBDC is responsible for the overall financial, executional and operational performance of RBDC. As a leader you will inspire a winning organization to embody the Company's Values and ensure high employee engagement. Key leadership traits include building, leading,coaching, and developing a high-performing leadership team. As a member of the Off Premise Distribution Leadership team, the President will lead and promote close alignment with RBNA Sales team leadership.The location for this role ideally is Santa Monica, CA but flexible to any RBDC Owned Market.Job DescriptionStrategic Business PlanningDevelop long-term distribution strategies and specific initiatives considering company direction, focus areas, market parametersand resources.Allocate resources where the investment has the highest payback aligned with strategic goals or relevanceDrive RBDC's annual business planning processEnsure all leadership manages expenses (inventory, goods destroyed, discounts, T&E), responsible for Profit & Loss ownershipacross all profit centersMonitor market trends and competitive activity, and deploy tactics to Win vs CompetitionOversight of Field-Sales Distribution OperationsUse a high level of discretionary judgment on sales, financial, operational, and employment decisionsLead, coach, and develop RBDC leadership team to ensure key performance indicators and metrics are met or exceeded and thatsales and distribution targets are flawlessly executed to standardP&L ownership and responsible for fiscal management of organization's expenses (inventory, goods destroyed, discounts, T&E)Develop and deliver an annual business plan for volume, execution excellence, market share, profitability, distributiondevelopment, routes, new product distribution, and volume/sales forecastEvaluate total market conditions through the lens of Winning versus All Competition - competitive threats, changing localdynamics which may impact volume, share, profit, as well as other business metricsLead RBDC LT in defining annual and monthly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) priorities, strategies, and goals coordinating withcross-functional departments, to ensure the attainment of volume plan and profit objectivesSpend time in the market with the field team to understand market conditions, influence employee engagement and promotelines of open communication to address business opportunitiesCross-Functional PartnershipsInstill partnership and collaboration amongst RBDC Field Sales and Shared Services Leaders (Talent, Finance, IT, Operations)Work directly with the RBNA Commercial and Shared Services leadership teams to ensure successful partnership andcollaboration across RBDC and RBNA.Actively contribute to HQ Cross Functional Teams within RBNA to ensure sales and distribution integration, organizationalinvestment in Reach and new business developmentParticipate in monthly Off Premise Sales leadership team meetings and provide feedback and insight to aid in the overallorganizational decision-making processBuilding SuccessBuild a diverse organization that reflects the marketplace; lives to Red Bull's Values and inspires the team through dynamic andeffective leadershipDrive the organization to achieve overall organization KPI targets and metricsInstill Red Bull Values, the RBDC Mission Plan, Environment, and Main Effort approach across entire organizationCoach, educate and mentor direct reports to grow and inspire their teamsBuild a high-performance focused, highly engaged organization aligned with Red Bull's Talent philosophiesLead direct reports to develop thought-leading initiative and insights that can impact national executionLead company wide communications strategy to inspire and engage the organizeQualifications12+ years of management experience in both beverage supplier and distributor businesses with a Direct Store Delivery (DSD) model, including proven track record of meeting or exceeding assigned sales objectivesKey account management experience at a national level preferredA proven track record of being able to inspire and lead a successful sales organization (sales directors and their teams, salesmanagers and their teams, Key Account Managers, Merchandising Managers and their teams), Office Assistants, and partneringwith Talent; promote initiatives that build strong trade partnershipsPrevious P&L influence & ownership over sales teams and operationsExcellent negotiator and influencer, leveraging business analytics to achieve desired outcomes.Demonstrated skills as a change agent, leader, and performance coach to develop talent.Self-motivated, self-directed, flexible and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Strategic thinker and passionate for achieving long-term success via hands on, solutions-oriented approach.Analytical background and ability to analyze complex trends and data.Strong communication skills, highly organized and manages timelines and objectives effectively.
