Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a high-risk OB unit in Lexington, KY, requiring active KY or compact RN licensure and night shift availability.Job Details• Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting, featuring 17 private suites, 5 triage/PACU beds, 4 ORs, a 3-bed OB ED, and a specialized antepartum unit for high-risk and postpartum care,• High-risk patient population including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients,• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week),Job Requirements• Active, unrestricted RN license in Kentucky or a compact state currently in hand,• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP,• Annual Dysrhythmia Competency Validation required,• Minimum education: ADN or ASN (BSN preferred),• Ability to assess age-specific patient safety needs and implement appropriate safety measures,Additional Information• Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, patient and family education, care coordination, and facilitation of admissions, transfers, and discharges,• Clinical practice is evidence-based and guided by nursing process, critical thinking, and hospital policies,• Participation in unit-based quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction, fall prevention, and documentation auditing is expected,• Must provide MM/DD of date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN for consideration,• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
