Job DetailsDescriptionRiverStone Group, Inc. is a leading producer of construction aggregates in the Midwest. Part of producing construction aggregates is the need for a quality Fabrication Shop, which we have right here in Rock Island, IL. This position requires the ability to fabricate custom steel products from blueprint to finished product, and everything in between. If you are a hands-on, mechanically minded individual who thrives in a fast-paced production environment, we want to hear from you.In this position you will truly be the jack-of-all, getting your hands dirty in any number of shop roles. Examples of such roles would be welder, CNC plasma cutting table operator, sand-blaster, project fabrication, assembly, and more. You will be using a wide variety of equipment and tools, and the ability to be flexible and a team player will be vital. Skills and experience in welding, blueprint reading/comprehension, hydraulic punches and shears, drill press operations, band saw set up and use, and attention to detail are all skills we are looking for.
