Our unique approach to UI provides a powerful way to leverage the potential of generative image models, and your contributions to our front end roadmap will be crucial in supporting this.\nThe ideal candidate will have significant experience building engaging web-based user interfaces, an interest in deepening their knowledge of Svelte, and is passionate about creating robust, web-based tools that delight creative people.\nWe are a small collaborative team who work hard together on interesting problems. We have a modern front-end stack built on Svelte, GraphQL, and Tailwind.The majority of our codebase is written in TypeScript, lending additional rigor and type-safety to our engineering efforts.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nLead the development of the front end, crafting features that deliver exceptional user experiences and maintain a high standard of code quality.\nProduce elegant, reusable UI abstractions that strike the right balance between simplicity and flexibility.\nCollaborate closely within a small team to understand priorities and navigate tradeoffs with the goal of moving quickly towards working solutions.\nOwn and continuously improve our existing front-end implementations, ensuring a strongly consistent user experience.\nDefine code patterns with an eye towards consistency, flexibility and maintainability.\nSKILLS YOU’LL NEED TO BRING:\nWe are looking for someone who is eager to grow and learn. That said you will need to bring a working skillset for you to do well in this role. We are looking for 3+ years of experience in the following areas:\nExperience with component-based architecture in modern frameworks like Svelte or React.\nConceptual understanding of the DOM and how CSS is used to style an html document\nUsing client side state management solutions to query data for a component.\nExposure to using GraphQL on the client side to retrieve data from the server.\nAbility to communicate ideas, requirements, trade offs, blockers, etc., specifically between designers and engineers.\nNICE TO HAVES:\nYou have experience with Svelte and SvelteKit\nYou have used CSS utility frameworks such as Tailwind\nYou have used Figma to mockup ideas and architecture diagram\nYou have experience with full stack development across Node.js/Python/Google Cloud and Docker.\nYou have experience with testing frameworks and automated testing tools.\nYou have experience working with Generative AI models\nWhat tech stack will you be working with?\nOur application is being built on a modern stack using Svelte, TypeScript, Python, Tailwind, NodeJS and GraphQL. Since we still are in an early stage, your input can easily influence the technology choices we make.\nDo I have to have long AI experience to apply?\nNo. Although AI is an integral part of what we do, we focus on solving complex UI/UX and creative workflow challenges. Since many AI tools and techniques are new, we don't require long-term experience. We value colleagues who are curious and eager to learn new things.\nComp:\nSalary is dependent on experience and skills.
