Commercial Restaurant Equipment Technician

Waterman's, Chix, and The Shack are seeking a skilled and dedicated team member to join our maintenance department. As an in-house repair facility, we handle all cooking, refrigeration, HVAC, and specialty equipment. The ideal candidate will possess the expertise to diagnose, repair, and maintain these crucial systems, ensuring the seamless operation of our facilities. Responsibilities: ● Diagnose, repair, and maintain cooking, refrigeration, HVAC, and specialty equipment. ● Collaborate with manufacturers and leadership to resolve challenges efficiently. ● Replace parts, identify issues, recommend upgrades, replace filters, and sanitize equipment. ● Maintain accurate documentation, organization, and safety protocols. Minimum Qualifications: ● High School diploma or equivalent ● 3+ years of hands-on experience in a technical field (refrigeration, appliance repair, HVAC, military service, etc.) ● Valid driver’s license with a clean record ● Flexibility for on-call rotations (nights/weekends) Preferred Qualifications: ● Certifications (EPA, CFESA) or technical licenses ● Experience repairing commercial kitchen or refrigeration equipment ● Self-driven, independent work style Physical Requirements: ● Comfortable lifting up to 70 lbs. ● Ability to work at heights ● Adaptability to diverse environments Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) employer match Profit share Employee owner shares Paid time off Dental insurance Health insurance Vision Insurance Referral program Employee meal discount Job Type: Full-time Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Referral program Experience: Equipment repair: 3 years (Required) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) EPA or CFESA Certification (Required) Work Location: In person
