Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced MRI Technologist to work at a Level 1 trauma center using Philips 1.5T and 3T MR systems.

Work at a Level 1 trauma center with 650+ beds
Patient population includes inpatients and outpatients with neuro, body, and MSK cases; no breast, cardiac, or prostate imaging required
Operates Philips MR 1.5T and 3T Ingenia or Ambition equipment
Epic EMR is used in this setting
Schedules vary and may include overnight or weekend day shifts; typical shifts are 3x12 hours per week
Shift options include overnights (Thursday/Friday/Saturday), weekends (Saturday/Sunday plus one weekday), or weekend plus Friday days
No on-call requirements
May float between multiple sites within a 25-mile radius, except for overnight positions
Requirements
Minimum 2 years MRI experience, with recent experience at a Level 1 trauma center preferred
Proficiency with Philips MR 1.5T scanners required
ARRT (MR) or AMRIT certification required
Strong clinical thinking skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Experience performing anesthesia, ICU, neuro (spine, brain, brain perfusion), body (abdomen, MRCP, kidney, pelvis), and MSK imaging
Driver’s license required for consideration
License required if applicable

Responsible for quality patient-centered care in a dynamic trauma environment
Must be reliable, flexible, and able to run protocols as written
Scrub color requirement: any scrubs other than hospital issued scrubs
No travel pairs or groups are accepted
Local candidates are eligible but are considered local if residing within 90 miles of any facility and are not eligible for renewals or extensions
