Together, we are expanding the possibilities of hydraulic control technology to provide innovative and reliable solutions.\n\nJob Description\nTo provide applications support and solutions to customers and colleagues to meet customer requirements for electronic / electro-hydraulic systems globally.\n\nFurther to provide comprehensive technical advice and expertise to both HydraForce Customers and HydraForce Internal Departments, liaising with field based Sales personnel and internal departments to ensure the effective provision of information and advice to meet customer needs.\n\nReview, advise and process system requests (including those for new/modified products) from the field and support sales at customers to initiate new (electronic) projects, if required\n\nReview and process requests for hardware adaptations or development, as well as providing technical expertise and advice\n\nProvide product and systems recommendations on a timely basis in accordance with customer needs and requirements\n\nIntegrate electro-hydraulic control systems with OEM specific electronic architecture\n\nCreate statement of work in early project phase, to be used for (budgetary) development cost calculation\n\nDevelop project specific documentation to fulfil customer requirements, but also against internal guidelines, incl. fulfilling necessary standards\n\nDevelop application specific software and provide field support when required for the initial test and optimization of systems and components\n\nProvide field support when required for system commissioning\n\nLiaise with Sales, Customers and other personnel to report activities and progress\n\nInvolved in creating market surveys for special markets or application solutions, providing feedback and recommendations based on gathered data\n\nIn field data-acquisition (e.g. PEAK PCAN-Explorer) incl. data-analysis and conclusion\n\nAssist customer in hands‑on trouble shooting when required to identify and resolve issues\n\nLiaise with other internal departments, customers and other personnel (e.g. suppliers) to coordinate activities and project progress\n\nWork with Sales, Applications Engineers, customers and other relevant personnel (to coordinate projects to meet customer requirements\n\nInvolvement in university cooperations / projects\n\nSupport (application and solution) trainings for internal or external ‘customers’ or customer Tech Days on request\n\nLiaise with international CH and Bosch Rexroth colleagues where required in the further development of personal expertise and knowledge\n\nProvide support at exhibitions where required\n\nQualifications\n\nMEng in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university\n\nProven experience in application of hydraulic & electronic systems in the mobile equipment market\n\nSignificant experience with C, C++, Matlab Simulink, CoDeSys\n\nDeep knowledge in functional safety standards required for mobile machines (EU Machinery Directive, DIN EN ISO 13849, DIN EN ISO 25119, etc.)\n\nStrong working knowledge of electronics and field bus systems essential\n\nGood technical ability in hydraulic valves and systems\n\nStrong working knowledge of electro-hydraulic systems related to mobile equipment\n\nPrevious exposure to or experience in a sales environment\n\nComputer literate, with sound knowledge of Microsoft packages and experienced in use of MRP systems\n\nAdditional Information\nWe offer a wide variety of interesting and challenging tasks.
