This role is ideal for a well-rounded full-stack engineer with a strong eye for frontend design, expertise in backend development, and experience designing performant database architectures. You will contribute to high-impact projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop responsive, pixel-perfect UI components using React.js with a strong focus on user experience and frontend performanceBuild and maintain scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs using NestJS and Java (Spring Boot)Architect and optimize relational and non-relational databases including MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and MySQLTranslate UI/UX designs and wireframes into clean, maintainable, production-ready codeParticipate in code reviews, technical design sessions, and sprint planningCollaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and QA engineersMentor junior engineers and uphold engineering best practices and clean code principlesEnsure application security, scalability, and reliability across all layers of the stackRequired Skills & Experience10+ years of professional software engineering experience across the full stackFrontend: React.js, Redux/Zustand, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind or Material UIBackend: NestJS (Node.js), Java (Spring Boot / Spring MVC)Databases: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL — schema design, indexing, query optimizationAPIs: REST, GraphQL, JWT/OAuth 2.0 authentication and authorizationProficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile/scrum methodologiesStrong command of software design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean architectureNice to HaveExperience with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud servicesFamiliarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized deploymentsMicroservices architecture experiencePrior work in a high-growth startup or enterprise product environmentWork ArrangementThis is a fully on-site role based at our client's office in Newark, CA.
