Operates all equipment necessary for exterior and interior work. Assists Tech I and Tech II’s during each shift. All functions will be performed within the guidelines of the Saracen Casino Resort policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.\nEssential Functions And Responsibilities\nMaintains all landscapes, including trimming trees and other gardening work to ensure appearance, safety and cleanliness.\nMaintains exterior grounds, including painting of curbs, signs, etc., fixing signs and repairing fences to ensure appearance, safety and cleanliness.\nRemoves snow and de-ices road and sidewalk surface to ensure safety and convenience of guests and employees.\nRepairs asphalt and concrete surfaces.\nAssists in repairs to the sprinkler systems.\nEmpties trash receptacles on exterior grounds.\nAssists in the general maintenance of the interior and exterior of the casino including repairing, altering or reconstructing equipment and facilities, using appropriate material, supplies or parts.\nAdhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner\nAssists with repairs and maintenance on equipment.\nProvides exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicates in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner at all times. Maintains a professional work environment with supervisors and staff.\nMeets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.\nAttend all necessary training meetings.\nAssist in other projects, as directed.\nDuties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. Hours are determined by 24-hour schedule.\nOutstanding example of and a credit to Saracen Casino Resort\nQUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.\nMust be a minimum of 21 years of age or older upon employment.\nHigh school diploma or its equivalency required.\nKnowledge of operation of mowers, tractors, trimmers, weed eater, snow blowers and drive pick-up truck with standard transmission.\nValid driver'slicense.\nApplicants must be able to substantiate a safe driving record within the parameters acceptable to our liability insurance carrier.\nMust possess excellent communication skills.\nAbility to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers.\nMust have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees.\nMust have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.\nMust be able to be approved for and maintain a valid Saracen Nation license.\nMust be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues.\nWork nights, weekends and holidays as required.\nEmployment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening.\nPHYSICAL, MENTAL AND WORK DEMANDS\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
