{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"5b14dd1fa205d1dc4739efd6","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/5b14dd1fa205d1dc4739efd6","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/5b14dd1fa205d1dc4739efd6","title":"AKS DevOps Engineer","description":"*Job title: Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Engineer*\n\n*Work Location: Coppell, TX 75019 (2-3 days Hybrid)*\n\n*Minimum years of experience: 7+ years*\n\n*Job Description:*\n\nDesign, deploy, and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters in production and non-production environments.\n\nConfigure and maintain Kubernetes workloads including Pods, Deployments, StatefulSets, Services, and Ingress controllers.\n\nImplement scalable and highly available architectures using AKS best practices (node pools, autoscaling, HA designs).\n\nManage container lifecycle using Docker and Azure Container Registry (ACR).\n\nBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.\n\nIntegrate AKS with Azure networking components such as VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers, and Application Gateway (AGIC).\n\nImplement security best practices including RBAC, Azure AD integration, pod security policies, and secrets management.\n\nMonitor cluster health and application performance using Azure Monitor and Grafana.\n\nPerform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for cluster, networking, and application issues.\n\nAutomate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.\n\nManage cluster upgrades, patching, and capacity planning to ensure platform reliability.\n\nOptimize cluster cost and performance through resource tuning and scaling strategies.\n\nCollaborate with development teams to onboard applications to AKS and improve deployment practices.\n\nEnforce governance, compliance, and security standards across Kubernetes environments.\n\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.\n\nMust Have Skills (Top 3 skills only)\n\nCore Concepts of Kubernetes and its administration\n\nAzure AKS & Cloud Networking\n\nContainerization & CI/CD knowledge\n\n*Skill:*\n\nAzure, Kubernetes, DevOps\n\n4-5 years in AKS\n\nPay: $84,670.45 -
