The Superintendent will ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, on budget, and to the required quality standards while coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and client stakeholders and minimizing impact to dealership operations and logistics flows.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nOversee daily on-site construction activities from mobilization through close-out for new builds, remodels, and tenant improvementsparticularly auto dealerships and distribution centers.\nPlan, sequence, and supervise tiltup panel installation, slab work, foundations, exterior envelope, and coordinating crane and rigging operations safely and efficiently.\nManage and supervise subcontractors, craft labor, and vendor performance; enforce scopes of work, timelines, and quality standards.\nMaintain and enforce jobsite safety programs and policies, conduct daily safety briefings, and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety requirements.\nDevelop, update, and communicate project schedules; identify and mitigate schedule risks and coordinate solutions to minimize impacts to dealership sales/operations and distribution activities.\nCoordinate logistics and site access to accommodate vehicle display areas, customer traffic, deliveries, and heavy equipment movements with minimal disruption to client operations.\nRead and interpret construction drawings and specifications; coordinate RFIs, submittals, and asbuilt documentation with project management and design teams.\nConduct daily inspections to ensure quality control, adherence to drawings/specifications, and timely resolution of construction issues and punchlist items.\nPrepare and maintain field reports, daily logs, manpower reports, and progress photographs; assist with change order documentation and cost tracking.\nBuild and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, progress updates, and proactive problem solving.\nMentor and coach foremen and field staff, fostering a collaborative, productive jobsite culture focused on continuous improvement.\n\nQualifications\n\nMinimum 5-10 years of proven experience as a Construction Superintendent on commercial projects, including significant experience with auto/car dealerships, tilt-up construction, and large distribution centers.\nStrong knowledge of tilt-up construction methods, panel erection sequencing, concrete and foundation construction, and crane/rigging coordination.\nDemonstrated success managing multitrade subcontractor crews, site logistics, and complex phasing to allow ongoing dealership operations or distribution activities during construction.\nProficient with project scheduling and construction management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Procore, PlanGrid) and familiar with cost tracking and change order processes.\nWorking knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, submittal/RFI processes, and quality control procedures.\nCurrent OSHA 30 certification (or equivalent) preferred; formal safety training and a strong safety leadership record.\nExcellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills; comfortable communicating with owners, facility managers, and trade partners.\nAbility to work in a fastpaced, dynamic field environment; valid drivers license and reliable transportation; ability to travel to job sites as required.\nAssociate or Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nCertifications such as NCCER, CM, or relevant trade-specific certifications are a plus.\n\nBenefits\n\nMedical Benefits\nPTO\n- For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
