This role demands expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines across various vehicles and equipment. As a Diesel Mechanics, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity for our vehicles.\nTransdev is proud to offer:\nCompetitive compensation package of minimum $24.00\nBenefits include:\nVacation: minimum of two (2) weeks\nSick days: 5 days\nHolidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating\nOther standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary long-term disability.\nCompany paid ASE testing, training materials, and tool reimbursement\nKey Responsibilities:\nPerform vehicle maintenance and repairs on brakes, engine tune-ups, suspensions, drive trains, transmission clutches, etc.\nEnsure work orders are completed properly & maintain records of all work completed, including parts and supplies used.\nComplete preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.\nQualifications:\n3+ years of automotive or diesel repair employment experience or combination of education & experience.\nProcess, or willing to obtain Commercial Driver’s License within the first year of employment is strongly preferred\nASE certifications preferred; ASE certification program provided\nMechanic’s tool set.\nSubject to DOT drug testing and physical. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe essential functions of this position require the ability to:\nWork outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations.\nSit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces\nPush and pull objects, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level\nWithstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
