The frontend should be viewed as a workflow layer on top of a reliable, scalable backend platform.\nYou will work closely with leadership, operations teams, and end users to turn real-world operational problems into production-grade software systems.\nThis is a high-ownership role with significant autonomy and influence over technical direction.\nWhat You Will Do\nDesign and build scalable backend systems and APIs using Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL, and TypeScript\nArchitect and manage secure multi-tenant data models, RBAC systems, audit logging, and permissions frameworks\nBuild and maintain full-stack applications using React and TypeScript\nDesign and deploy cloud infrastructure in AWS, including production and staging environments\nOwn CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, environment management, and infrastructure configuration\nConfigure authentication systems including SSO and identity management\nBuild reporting systems, KPI dashboards, analytics pipelines, and operational tooling\nDevelop AI-assisted workflows, automation systems, and data processing tools\nImprove system performance, reliability, observability, and maintainability\nPartner with cross-functional teams to translate operational needs into scalable software solutions\nSupport multi-site deployments and platform rollouts across distributed teams\n\nRequired Experience\nStrong backend engineering skills with experience designing scalable systems\nExperience with PostgreSQL, database design, query optimization, and real-world operational data\nExperience building APIs with authentication, authorization, and RBAC\nStrong React + TypeScript experience\nExperience building or contributing significantly to products from 0\n1\nExperience deploying and managing applications in AWS\nExperience setting up cloud infrastructure, environments, networking, and deployment pipelines\nFamiliarity with Docker, CI/CD workflows, GitHub Actions, or comparable tooling\nStrong understanding of system architecture, security, and maintainability\nComfortable working in ambiguity and making high-impact technical decisions\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience designing multi-tenant SaaS platforms\nExperience with AWS services such as ECS, EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch, or VPC configuration\nExperience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation\nExperience with analytics, dashboards, or internal tooling platforms\nFamiliarity with AI/ML integrations and automation workflows\nExperience scaling systems across multiple teams or locations\nStartup or high-growth environment experience\nExposure to operational, logistics, or field-service environments is a plus\nRequirements\nMust be based in Atlanta, Georgia\nRelocation assistance not available\nThis role includes occasional travel for deployments, planning sessions, and team collaboration.\nCandidates must be based in the continental US.
