Software Integration Engineer II
Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Software Integration Engineer II to join our team!The Software Integration Engineer will provide administration, maintenance, and operational support of the Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) component of the CASA Compute Environment (CCE). The CCE delivers secure, multi-tenant, high-performance, and highly available Kubernetes clusters operating within a Linux-based infrastructure, and the role focuses on platform reliability, scalability, security compliance, and optimal cluster performance in support of mission and application requirements.QualificationsActive TS/SCI + FS PolygraphBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and at least six (6) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment ORFive (5) years of full-time Computer Science directly related work substituted for a degree, plus six (6) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.Required Skills + Experience:Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux suite of toolsExperience developing scripts using Bash/PythonExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker/PodmanDemonstrated experience administrating and monitoring Kubernetes clustersExperience troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Kubernetes workloads (ingress, performance, networking, storage, etc.)Experience with IaC principles, concepts, and methodologies using automation tools including AnsibleExperience writing, deploying, and maintaining Helm ChartsExperience using Git for source code management, branching strategies, and team collaborationDesired Skills + ExperienceExperience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (Jira, Confluence, etc.)Experience working in a DevOps environment that uses Agile principles and methodologiesExperience using system monitoring tools such as Prometheus /GrafanaExperience with or willingness to learn development of Python applications (REST services, microservices, etc.)CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator)
