You will be joining a passionate group that moves fast, works with the biggest names in payments and fintech, and is defining how the next generation of financial applications are built.\r\nWhat You'll Do\r\nDesign and implement high-quality native mobile SDKs that enable developers to integrate embedded wallet functionality into their applications, with a strong focus on API ergonomics, performance, and reliability.\r\nOwn SDK features end-to-end: from API design and architecture, through implementation and testing, to release, versioning, and developer documentation.\r\nBuild and maintain secure, reliable SDK components for wallet operations, including cryptographic operations, blockchain interactions, and security-sensitive flows.\r\nDefine and evolve the SDK architecture to support long-term maintainability, backward compatibility, and adoption across diverse customer applications.\r\nBuild sample applications and demos that showcase SDK capabilities and serve as integration references for customers.\r\nCreate clear, comprehensive SDK documentation and integration guides.\r\nWork with developer relations and support teams to address customer integration challenges.\r\nRaise the bar for quality and operational excellence by establishing best practices around testing, observability, releases, and code health.\r\nContribute to a culture of ownership and execution, leading by example through hands-on work, code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing.\r\nWhat You'll Bring\r\n5+ years of software engineering experience, with deep focus on mobile development and shipping production-grade SDKs.\r\nDemonstrated track record of building and shipping high-quality code, with work you can point to and discuss in depth.\r\nStrong hands-on experience with iOS (Swift) and/or Android (Kotlin); experience with React Native or other cross-platform frameworks, and familiarity with all.\r\nExperience building mobile SDKs or shared libraries, including API design, versioning, packaging, and long-term maintenance across platforms.\r\nExperience with blockchain-enabled mobile systems, including wallet flows, signing, and on-chain interactions.\r\nExperience working on security-sensitive mobile software, such as key management, secure storage, cryptography, or financial products.\r\nStrong grasp of mobile engineering best practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, release management, and observability.\r\nA get-things-done mindset with the ability to independently own problems and deliver end-to-end solutions.\r\nComfortable making long-term architectural decisions while remaining pragmatic and adaptable.\r\nB.Sc. in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent practical experience.\r\nRemote role in a distributed team; preference for candidates in the Americas time zone.\r\nBig Advantages\r\nRust and/or WebAssembly (Wasm) experience, particularly building cross-platform SDKs consumed by mobile apps.\r\nExperience designing shared core logic used across iOS and Android.\r\nExperience with advanced mobile security primitives (secure hardware, MPC, low-level crypto).\r\nPrior experience owning or founding a mobile platform or SDK from scratch.\r\nFor employees hired to work from our NYC HQ, Fireblocks is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This range is specific to New York City, and takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are reviewed when making a hiring decision, such as years of experience, skills, and other business needs.\r\nIt is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and each compensation decision is dependent on each individual case. A reasonable base salary range estimate for this position is $177,000 to $230,000. The base salary is one component of the total compensation package, which for some roles may include a target bonus, a very competitive equity grant, and very generous benefits.
