This role ensures that system‑level requirements, architecture, integration, and verification processes are rigorously defined, implemented, and maintained throughout the product lifecycle. In this role you will – a.    Develop and maintain system architecture, ensuring alignment with mission needs, environmental constraints, and product performance goals. b.    Define, document, and manage system requirements, including flow‑down to multidisciplinary engineering teams and full traceabilityc.     Serve as the technical focal point for optics, electronics, mechanics, firmware, and algorithms teams, ensuring cohesive system performance, system verification and product compliance to Space segment. d.    Identify system‑level risks, support mitigation planning, and ensure compliance with relevant space standards and reliability requirements. e.    Participate in technical reviews, support customer discussions, and provide system‑level documentation and reporting. f.     Prepare and maintain system specifications, ICDs, verification matrices, and engineering reports.Role requirements – 1.    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Systems Engineering, or related discipline. 2.    5–7 years of experience in system engineering for complex, multi‑discipline products for Aerospace, Medical, Automative or similar segments.3.    Background in optical systems or qualified hardware and embedded software.4.    Strong knowledge of system requirements, architecture, design and verification methodologies. 5.    Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional technical activities. 6.    Strong communication skills; fluency in English required. Preferred Qualifications1.    Experience with FOG technology or inertial sensors, navigation systems. 2.    Experience in Aerospace qualified embedded systems. 3.    Familiarity with ECSS, NASA, or other space‑qualification standards. 4.    Background in radiation effects, thermal design, or vibration/EMC testing for space. 5.    Experience with MATLAB, Python, or system‑level simulation tools.Reporting to Cielo Head of Space programs.
