This role plays a key part in validating the durability, stability, and long-term reliability of our embedded platforms.\n\nResponsibilities\nDevelop automated and manual test procedures for embedded systems\nDesign fixtures, test rigs, and custom setups for long-duration testing\nWork with embedded software engineers to identify and resolve failure modes\nDesign repeatable test plans to evaluate system robustness and identify edge-case failures\nCollect, analyze, and report data to support product improvements\nDocument test cases, outcomes, and reproducibility\nCollaborate with mechanical, software, electrical, and QA teams to resolve issues quickly\nSupport root cause analysis of failures, providing data-driven insights and recommendations\nMaintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results\nMonitor industry standards, test methods, and reliability practices to continuously improve internal processes\nProvide accurate and timely status updates on testing progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders\nPivots quickly and focus on high priority tasks if asked\n\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.\n1-2 years of engineering experience or experience with embedded systems (internships or coursework)\nFamiliarity with C/C++ and scripting languages (Python preferred)\nStrong analytical mindset and detail-oriented\nHands-on experience building circuits, breadboards, or simple embedded projects in test plan development\nStrong problem-solving skills\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nProfessional attitude when approaching work assignments\nStrong ability to manage multiple priorities and complex tasks\nStrong math, analytical, reasoning, and critical thinking skills\n\nBenefits\nFive (5) weeks PTO\nTen (10) Paid Holidays\nThree (3) days Paid to Volunteer\nRobust 401(k) with up to 6.0% Company Contribution/Match\nExceptional health care benefits\n\nServer Products is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
