This includes user account management, system configuration, and ensuring the smooth operation of the system across all company locations.\nAct as the first line of support for any system-related issues. Diagnose and resolve technical problems and escalate complex issues to senior staff when necessary.\nPerform system updates and maintenance, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Work with the IT team to schedule updates and communicate any system downtime to users.\nProvide training and assistance to users of the Sage X3 system. This involves creating instructional materials, conducting training sessions, and offering support for any issues users may encounter.\nWork closely with the IT team to align the Sage X3 system with the company's IT infrastructure and security policies. Participate in IT projects that involve the ERP system.\nWork closely with the Development team on customized reports and tools requirements. Test the developed reports and tools and train users as needed.\nCoordinate with teams across different locations to ensure the ERP system meets the diverse needs of each site. Address any location-specific issues and requirements.\nContribute to the continuous improvement of the ERP system. Provide feedback and suggestions for system enhancements based on user experience and business needs.\nEnsure compliance with industry standards and best practices in ERP administration. Keep abreast of new developments in ERP systems and technologies.\nQualifications Education\nBachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field is required.\nCertifications in Sage X3 or other relevant ERP systems can be advantageous.\nTechnical Experience\nExperience with Sage X3 or similar ERP systems, including system administration, user support, and configuration is required.\nFamiliarity with the accounting and finance functions and technical aspects of computer manufacturing and the specific needs of such functions in ERP systems is helpful.\nKnowledge of system integration and data migration techniques is helpful.\nProfessional Experience\nExperience in a system administration role, preferably within a manufacturing or similar industry.\nDemonstrated experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.\nPrior involvement in ERP implementation projects or system upgrades would be beneficial.\nStrong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with users and understanding their requirements.\nAbility to work collaboratively with other System Adm ins, IT teams and other departments.\nGood organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.\nExperience working in a multi-site or multi-location organizational structure.\nExposure to project management methodologies and practices.\nKnowledge of Business Processes:\nAn understanding of key business processes in manufacturing, such as supply chain management, production planning, inventory control, and financials is very useful.\nAbility to translate business requirements into system configurations.\nPlease note that this position will be dedicated to supporting clients operating under U.S. export control rules (including ITAR).
